  1. 56.88 😬 looking forward for this tax season! It’s my high season of side hustle.

  2. Hi Leila! -Just a quarterly transfer this week of $181.40 to my term life insurance policy (married w/2 kids). We have two 20-year policies.

  4. Be careful with the fees/charges of these vendors. I recently watched some TT videos that I had missed from earlier in 2021 and saw BMAC/paypal charged over 9% fees. As a comparison we only get 2% from credit card rewards. No wonder mastercard/visa/paypal are all huge profitable companies. These small amounts really add up.
I was also surprised that M1 finance bonus was only $10 back in early 2021. Someone should tell them Leila needs to get out of debt so they should keep it at $50 (or more) 😉

  5. Congratulations! You have inspired me too much. I am looking forward to continuing my journey on Finance Fridays, to help concur my financial goals. Debt and Positive net worth. ☺️☺️☺️

  6. Paid my CC, transferred to my non-registered investment account, and transferred to my sinking funds/emergency fund account. Busy transfer Tuesday! Can’t believe January is going so quickly but it’s gonna be a great year! 🙂

  7. I made an extra car payment of $230 this week. Paying off my car this year. Shooting for $75 per week to the principle. This week I had more. Yay!

  8. Federal taxes are due Monday, April 18, 2022
Emancipation Day is being observed in the District of Columbia on April 15. The holiday honors the end of slavery in Washington, D.C. Since April 15 is a legal holiday in D.C., the IRS can’t require tax returns be filed that day. The next business day is April 18 – so that becomes Tax Day in 2022 for most people (except MA & ME when it is April 19 due to Patriots’ Day)

  9. I put $2,300 on my Roth IRA today because I saw the market bleeding and I took advantage on it. I took that money out from my emergency fund.

  10. My 2nd transfer Tuesday! Thank you for putting me onto this. I transferred $557 to my credit card, $400 to my 2021 Roth (trying to max it out by April but just started this year), and $100 to savings. This year really is flying by already lol

  11. I had a small transfer this week as well – only $70. But I have to remind myself that every little bit counts!
