  1. If the economy is “roaring back” like little red lying hood and Joe Brandon tell us it is, then why is it necessary to postpone student loan payments?

    1. But if they were smart enough to know that, they wouldn’t choose liberal arts in the first place, it’s a catch 22

  2. The next plan is to Destroy the Supreme Court, but should we ask who stoled $100 billion fro the Build Back Better Plan?

  3. As long as folks start paying them off again, idc if they are extended. But I’m not in favor of canceling the debt.

  4. 41 million borrowers half of them are Trumptards but yet still complain about me. you are welcome

  5. I hope you people aren’t falling for all these lies. 6 million jobs added LIE . 114 million jobs were lost due to covid. 6 million are back. There are still 108 million jobs still gone. In 1917 unemployment was 4.3, in 1918 it was 3.9, in 1919 it was 3.6, and in April 2020 at the height of the pandemic it was 14.8, and at the end of 2020 it was 8.3, all under Trump. As of today the unemployment rate is 4.2. Still a far cry from before the pandemic.

  6. This is good news, although I wish the Biden Administration would cancel student loan debt altogether, _which he promised._ But oh well, it’s probably the best we are going to get from a moderate like him anyway… 🤷‍♂️

  7. The pause will be compensated from our tax money. No justice when one group of people have to work hard to pay for someone else’s mistakes.

  8. If so many millions of people couldn’t afford to pay their loans then how are millions of people able to travel by plane Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s when the price to fly is higher because of in inflation. This just shows people can pay their loans but dont want to.

How is it that it is a computer chip shortage and the price of vehicles have increased and EVs are pricier and the sales for electric vehicles are on demand regardless of the price increases because of inflation? How is it that electronics like smart phones, tvs, video game consoles like PS5 are hard to find and no one has any issues forking $500 plus $70 for the software and an extra $90 for a controller but cant pay student loans?

If people couldn’t afford to pay student loans then manufacturers like Softwest, American Airlines, Delta should also see a sales decline in addition to Sony, Samsung, Apple, Nintendo, and Microsoft.

So for over a year of not paying student loans what exactly have they been using that extra money for then?
And I see help wanted signs everywhere. What’s the excuse that airlines and cruises are selling well but Studen Loans aren’t?

    1. Comparing a one time purchase of a video game system to a massive educational loan at high interest is a ridiculous comparison. That’s like saying “if you’re having trouble breathing then why are you able to talk”
The thing with student loans is that it’s a scams they benefits a very small of hell bound, sadistic bankers at the expense of the youth of this country. People go to school because they want to apply themselves and make society and their lives better. To take advantage of them is wrong.

  9. Lol, this president is doing a great job listing to the lunatics on the left. Allowing the left to keep punting this down the road just causes more pile up down the road.

  10. Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list. In some months time you’ll be ecstatic with the decision you made today.

  11. The administration should be commended for this move. As the year is coming to a close, individuals, families, businesses small, midsize and large will have to assess their books. Many of them will have no choice but to shutter their businesses which affect majority of American citizens. The administration need to go a step further and offer meaningful student loan debt forgiveness immediately. Failing to do so will have a devastating effect for ordinary Americans.

  12. if they pay off their student loan they should give 2000 dollar checks monthly to high school dropouts

  13. You should’ve gone to a governemnt institution of higher education instead of your “favorite” $50,000/year party school.
